BEHIND THE LENS

My chilhood and youth I spent in a small village near Valmiera in Latvia. Closeness of nature, slow but fulfiled rhythm of life made my perception of the world you can presume in my phothos. I started to take pictures in my 16 with film cemera. Remember, first printed phothographys I made with my friend in his kitchen. We snitced chemistry from parents. It turned more serious further on when I decided to go to photo and video courses in Valmiera to become a photo artist. Now it's about 20 years since on.
